Psychotherapy

Feeling like we “should” be able to figure things out on our own is a typical mind trap we can all fall into.

Sometimes it can feel like we’re alone in the canoe, with no paddle, and no support. We’ve been taught that asking for help is a sign of weakness or lack of character-whatever that means!

Working with me will help you notice some of those old patterns and beliefs that may be influencing your life. We can build new compassionate perspectives that help you live the way you deserve to life.

I provide psychotherapy to older youth, parents, and individual adults in person, over the phone, or through a secure video platform called OWL.

After meeting you for the first time, either in a brief consultation or a psychotherapy session, we will decide if our therapeutic connection feels like a good fit for your specific needs. From there we will determine how best to support you.

I have developed my therapeutic approach over thirteen years. When I work with you, I am my authentic self. I practice from a feminist, compassionate, trauma-informed, inclusive lens and currently use a combination of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and other evidence-based practices to support you in your journey.
