Feeling like we “should” be able to figure things out on our own is a typical mind trap we can all fall into.

Sometimes it can feel like we’re alone in the canoe, with no paddle, and no support. We’ve been taught that asking for help is a sign of weakness or lack of character-whatever that means!

Working with me will help you notice some of those old social norms and beliefs that may be influencing your life now so you can choose how you really want to live.

I provide psychotherapy to older youth, parents, and individual adults in person, over the phone, or through a secure video platform called OWL.

After meeting you for the first time, either in a brief consultation or a psychotherapy session, we will decide if our therapeutic connection feels like a good fit for your specific needs. From there we will determine how best to support you.

I have developed my therapeutic approach over ten years. When I work with you, I am my authentic self. I practice from a feminist, compassionate, trauma-informed, inclusive lens and currently use a combination of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical-Behaviour Therapy, and Narrative Therapy to support people in being their natural selves.
